BOXING AUSTRALIA REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT CAMP

This weekend saw a total of 24 athletes (composing males and females), 10 coaches across 6 clubs from the Ballarat & Bendigo Goldfields Region participate in a two day development camp The camp was hosted at Body Connect (Brawl Fight Club) Ballarat. The majority of the athletes being at the adolescent stage of boxing development. Guest speaker and local sportsman Jeff McGregor, Masters Boxing World Amateur Champion and retired Physical Education and Sport teacher gave an insightful presentation on resilience, confidence and dedication day one. Jeff spoke from a wealth of personal experience. The camp concluded with condition sparring whereby coaches were able to work with the athletes and guide them. A big thanks to Clinton Veermark and the Body Connect (Brawl Fight Club) Ballarat for hosting the camp.
