Boxing Australia Super Quattro Invitational

Please find below the final list of female and male entries into the BAL Super Quattro Invitational competition. Each boxer is numbered to assist with the draw (see below who they box and when). Please note the following important information:
- Competition dates. Monday 26-29 Jun 17.
- Entry fee. Each entrant (or MA) is required to deposit $100.00 into BAL account: BSB 063875 ACC: 10491902 by Friday 02 Jun 17. To be specific please enter the boxer’s surname followed by RR.
- Competition venue. Paradise Point Bowling Club, 22 Thrush Ave, Paradise Point, QLD.
- Competition format. The Round Robin concept will produce quality competition with a depth of opportunities for all athletes. Each of the four boxers will compete each day collecting points, depending on the decision, so at the end of the three days of quality competition the best two boxers for that weight division will box in the ultimate final.
Grading system – points
- WP:
- Winner = 3 points
- Loser – 3:2/3:1 = 2 points
- Loser – 5:0/4:1/3:0 = 1 point
- RSC(I)/KO:
- Winner = 3 points plus bonus
- 2 bonus points RSC(I)/KO 1st round
- 1.5 bonus points RSC(I)/KO 2nd round
- 1 bonus point RSC(I)/KO 3rd round
- Loser = 1 point
- Abandon
- Winner = 3 points
- Loser = 1 point
- WO:
- Winner = 3 points
- Loser – doctor = 1 point
- Loser – Fails to enter ring on time = 0 points
- Loser – weight = minus 0.5 point
- Disqualification:
- Winner = 3 points
- Loser = 0 points
- Top 2 boxers at the end of the 3 days box in the final; corners will be drawn.

1st day:
1v2, 3v4 x 11 bouts = 22 bouts (12 bouts/10 bouts)
2nd day:
3v1, 4v2 x 11 bouts = 22 bouts (12 bouts/10 bouts)
3rd day:
1v4, 2v3 x 11 bouts = 22 bouts (12 bouts/10 bouts)
4th day:
Final x 11 bouts
- Weigh-In. The venue for the weigh-in/medical will be at the Gold Coast Sports Super Centre, 1 Sports Dr, Runaway Bay QLD, and as follows:
- Monday 26 Jun. 9-10 am
- Tuesday 27 Jun. 8-9 am
- Wednesday 28 Jun. 8-9 am
- Thursday 29 Jun. 8-9 am
- Technical meeting. A technical meeting will be held immediately following the weigh-in/medical on the first day (Monday 26th).
- Competition schedule. All boxers will box each day, with exception of the final, and only those two on the highest points. The schedule is as follows:
- Sunday 25 Jun – arrivals (or no later than first weigh-in).
- Monday 26 Jun. 1st session – 2.30-5.30pm. 2nd session 6.30-9.00pm.
- Tuesday 27 Jun. 1st session – 3.00-6.00pm. 2nd session 7.00-9.30pm.
- Wednesday 28 Jun. 1st session – 3.00-6.00pm. 2nd session 7.00-9.30pm.
- Thursday 29 Jun. Finals – 3pm-6pm.
- Friday 30 Jun – departures (or no earlier than last bout of finals).
- Accommodation. Accommodation is the responsibility of the boxer and coaches, however, accommodation is available at the Sports Centre at approx. $85 per night per bed (includes 3 meals) in twin room accommodation. There are 72 beds available on a first come first served basis. Please contact the Sports Centre to book your accommodation before 30 May.
- Awards. The winner of the final will be awarded a belt, the runner-up $100 towards expenses, 3rd and 4th $50 each towards expenses.
