COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Boxing Australia (BAL) is working with the Australian Institute of Sport and relevant government bodies regarding the recent outbreak of COVID-19.

The AIS has advised that crowd attendance at sporting events in Australia at this time is likely to facilitate the rapid spread of COVID-19, resulting in additional pressure on the healthcare system. 

The sporting community must prioritise the health of its athletes, coaches, support staff and the wider community by limiting the impact of the pandemic on our national health care system.

BAL has cancelled the upcoming Level 3 Coaches Course that was due to be held at the AIS, 25 - 29 March. This cancellation is to protect the health and wellbeing of all athletes, staff and visitors on-site at the AIS.
