AGM Notice

In accordance with clause 10.3(b) of the BAL Constitution BAL wishes to:

• Advise that the 2019 BAL Annual General Meeting will be held at 9am, Wednesday 23 October 2019 at the Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium, 296 Nerang Broadbeach Rd, Carrara, QLD 4211.
• Request from Member Associations and Directors notices of any motion which such MAs and Directors might desire to move at the 2019 AGM. In order for any motion to be moved at the 2019 AGM, BAL must receive it no later than Wednesday 18 September 2019.
• Request from Member Associations and Directors any other item of business sought to be included on the Agenda for the 2019 AGM. In order for any item of business to be added to the Agenda for the 2019 AGM, BAL must receive it no later than Wednesday 18 September 2019.
• Advise that consistent with the requirements of clause 10.10 of the BAL Constitution, Member Associations must provide BAL with a Notice of Appointment of its Delegate to attend the 2019 AGM. This Notice must be provided no later than Wednesday 18 September 2019.

In accordance with 13.6 of the BAL Constitution, BAL wishes to also give notice in relation to a request for nominations for election of Directors. Please find attached Call for Director Nomination Form and AIBA Declaration of Eligibility Form.

Please note that any person may nominate any other person to stand for election as a Director at the next Annual General Meeting. A nomination for election of a Director must be received by Wednesday 18 September 2019. Nominations on the attached forms are to be forwarded to josh.obrien@boxing.org.au
