From 1st January 2021, the national High Performance programs for Boxing, Judo and Taekwondo will be delivered by a newly established high performance entity - Combat Institute of Australia (CIA) Limited. This new organisation will be jointly owned by the three member National Sporting Organisations, being Boxing Australia, Judo Australia and Australian Taekwondo.
The role of the CIA Ltd Board is to ensure the organisation meets all legal and compliance obligations and establishes an effective strategy to deliver enhanced High Performance outcomes for all three sports. This will be achieved by the organisation having a sole focus on high performance and supporting services only.
Expressions of Interest are now being sought from qualified individuals to join the inaugural CIA Ltd Board in an honorary capacity.
