The camp consisted of three sessions. During session 1 Coach Jamie talked the athletes through some different warm ups and suggested set warm ups for competitions. This was followed by open sparring (evenly matched and well controlled). Coach Jamie explained that athletes need to work on development during sparring and not focus solely on results. Athletes were informed that a useful way to develop is working with former and future opponents.

The second session included Stance, Hand Guard, Foot and Trunk Defences and a presentation and explanation. Several minutes was then spent on each aspect with athletes reacting to a whistle. The session concluded with 3x3min ABC circuit and 15 minutes of condition sparring.

The final session was 3x2 minute Timed Circuit and 3x3 minute Open Sparring. Overall the camp was very successful and coaches provided great feedback to the athletes.
